Because I would buy it...to avoid the tortuous update wait. Same for Super Lovers but I couldn't find an English version of that or Loveless.

Saezuru was licensed by Digital Manga. Digital Manga Publishing released Twittering Birds Never Fly as part of their June titles. Volume 1 is available as an e-book as well as Volume 2 ( https://www.emanga.com/search?keyword=yoneda+kou&oldkeyword=&kindle=&newrelease=&topview=&categoryid=&status=&giftcard=&authorid=&leftGenreFlag=&leftFormatFlag=&leftPublisherFlag=&leftPriceFlag=&emailRegular=&emailHentai=), but Volume 1 print version is out of print. Volume 1 translation was very disappointing. There's plan to amend English translation and the brand manager of the Juné imprint at DMP has received an opportunity to revise the English translation for the first volume of Twittering Birds Never Fly before it gets sent out for a reprint. You can read about it here: http://alyspks.tumblr.com/post/127304893642/regarding-the-english-translation-of-twittering They are open for fans' input and suggestions till Friday, August 28. I only bought e-book versions and I truly hope they'll fix the translation of e-book version too.

It would suck to pay for something with a bad translation. :( I encountered that before with a different manga.

I bought digital copy of 1st volume & print out copy for 2nd volume. 2nd volume have been reprinted on 22nd july so you can still order them. Translation not bad I compared to mangascan. 1st volume, I don't think it bad either but yes it has differences like lustful cat = lecherous bottom guy. But seriously, the digital copy manga is not as clear as manga scan. That disappointed. I bought from kindle. I think there are many place other than amazon to buy it. Like emanga, or kobo.
My suggestion if you buy from kindle amazon, read it on your tablet. If you read it from mobile phone, it will be 2 pages squeezed into 1 phone display. So bad. I read it on my tablet better. Volume 1 is not reprinted that's why some people sell it in super high price almost unrealistic. But I really want to buy the print out copy hahahaha

I have a first edition preorder of both the first and second volumes. The ebook version, as I heard, was an advanced publication that contained few, but annoyingly unprofessional "white noise" of translation errors, such as grammatical and typo issues. In my hardback copy of the first volume, I have experienced no such issues. I also believe the translation is rather standard - it isn't anything stellar, like the yakuza "dialect" isn't taken into account at all, and it's just translated into regular English - but well that's the caliber of the current scanlation anyway, if not a tier or two higher in quality.

Oh, I also wrote the top review for the first volume on Amazon. If you want detailed feedback on whether or not it's worth your money, I have a whole section on the quality of the translation. Good luck!

That's very true. I saw a blog about the official translation being completely mediocre compared to Dangerous Pleasure's translations. How disappointing could that be? This might sound rude, but in my opinionm the scanlators and not these half-assed guys deserve money.
