Mm... Yes, It's possible that Saena, in the past, was similar to Kyoko's. But I have a feeling that's not the case. Kyoko, as a little girl, she was very cheerful, energetic, and expresive. I think Saena is has that kind of personality to who it's very dificult to express her feelings and thoughts. I think Saena used to be more like the reserved-shy type, or a tsundere, who was often misunderstood. But maybe she used to be innocent and pure, at some point.
I guess, Saena was a much like Kyoko in the past. Pure, kind and innocent to the point being used and taken advantage for. Heart broken, they closed down their heart and froze themselves. While Saena stuck frozen in time, Ren already unlocked the key to Kyoko heart, make kyoko able to love once more, that's way kyoko no longer feel resentful toward Sho like it did before. Well, she obviously wouldn't forgive everything sho did to her in the past (I thankful for that), but at least she feel grateful toward sho now to open up her eyes. Maybe if sho didnt hurt and abandoned her, kyoko would still be a Lovebirds who have eyes only for sho and do everything for the man she loves, I totally despise women like that.
