Asami respect aki even though, he make fun of him sometime, he admire his inner strength even though, he wonder what is it that make aki so determine and he acknowledge him as his chosen one, why not acknowledge him as his equal? I have some ideas what I think why he doesn't. What you ideas why you think he's not?

I think we see the essence of it here: http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/you_re_my_loveprize_in_viewfinder/mh/v000/c001.1/14/

Asami loves Aki's spirit, and part of that is his naivete. At that point, Aki responds "I..hate you" but if you go to the next page...

Aki is maturing enough to realize his feelings, but he is still a novice in the business world.

I've always thought Asami was drawn to Akihito as the light to his darkness and in that way, Akihito is actually Asami's superior--though Akihito has no idea of this himself.

Like a moth drawn to fire, if you think about it.

That would explain why Asami often seems cross or irritated when he is attracted to Aki. But that would also mean Aki is attracted to Asami's darkness--and that's on Aki.

He could be afraid of losing Akihito which is why he keeps him on emotional edge at times. At the end of the Hong Kong arc after being reunited, Asami thinks about how he will bind Akihito so that he will only love him. Both scanlated and official versions show this.

Well, yeah. And Akihito is aware of that part, at least. He's always thinking stuff like that. "Must not get sucked into this man's darkness" and so forth. But no matter how hard he tries to resist, he can't keep away. In this case, to take J Unleashed's thought, the flame is every bit as attracted to the moth.

This tension between light and dark is what drives this story, even though it leans heavily towards dark. Right now, the imbalance of power between Akihito and Asami makes it feel like there's really only one outcome, that Akihito will fall into darkness. He's already compromised himself for Asami. After he had that moment in chapter 47 where he realized his value was as a part of Asami's private life, the challenge is can he stay with Asami and not be tarnished by that dark side?

Sensei has used the abyss as any allegory (don't know if this is the correct term) in this arc to make the point that Akihito has been warned by his own thoughts and Asami, but still choses to be at his man's side.
