Gender is not about the parts you were born with, it's about who you are inside. In Japanese a male fan of yaoi is a fudanshi and a female fan of yaoi is a fujoshi. My best friend is male to female transgender - completed surgery 5 years ago. To make a choice to permanently change your body to fit what is inside is a bold and brave choice and I, for one, am proud of you for making it. To know who you truly are, as a person, is a gift not many people have. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and would be honored to chat anytime.

Even here in the US many female to male transgender cannot have the complete surgery done due to the expense. That, however, does not make them less male. You can always consider having the surgery done in another country. No matter what you choose, always remain true to yourself. Never give in to pressure from others to be something that, in your heart, you are not. You will always have someone to support you and be on your side if you ever need it. That is a promise.
