The anime leaves off relatively early compared to manga which hasn't ended yet. Although the anime will probably eventually have a second season, it ends off at a part where hardly the deep roots of the plot have yet to be uncovered. Although I don't quite remember what chapter, the manga and anime follow each other relatively closely until after Eren fights the Female titan if you can. Try and find that part and just keep reading from there. That's where the new stuff that isn't from the anime will be :D
you can start at ch 34 since that leaves off after the last ep of the anime. season two I believe starts sometime in 2016 during the summer. its good to read and there isn't really a difference. since you haven't read it yet, I don't wish to spoil much.

Hey I never read snk manga before but I watched the anime version. Is there a big difference between manga and anime plot? And if I want to catch up the story from the last anime episode (if the story is same) at which chapter should I start read? Or should I read from the first chapter? ._.
