If you don't mind MM romance novels in English, I like Josh Lanyon's Adrien English series. There is a decent mystery to go with the relationship, and it has a slow build up of sexual tension before they get to the hot sex.

There are some really great fan fiction authors on AO3 and FanFiction.net if you want some m/m stories (plus quite a few AsamixAkihito stories)

he really is an awesome author! the content of his series is so much more than just romance. i read his books randomly based on the mystery tag before i was into yaoi/mm romances and loved it
