I totally agree with you. No matter the explaination, Saena was still(and continues to be) a bad mother. (Personally I think Sho is better than Saena, since he's young and stupid, but Saena was her Mother, the one person who is supposed to love her unconditionally) It is a fact, something in the past that can not be changed. But I don't hate her, I think I could empathyse with her, even like her, even forgive her... It depends on her story and specially on her character's development.
I also don't think this is going to be the same as Sho, maybe the father did had a tragic ending.
i get how you guys are thinking its a shou repeat, but I think there is more to it than that, like that doesn't explain why she thinks she's cursed. My bet is that he did die and she feels like it was her fault (hence curse so he got hurt) and Kyoko reminded her of him and now she's afraid her 'curse' will affect her as well FIN
