But I think he is less naive than Kyoko, it's just my first impression but to me, he seems to be rather manipulative (I don't mean that as a bad thing, just as a characteristic of his personality).
He seems to have a lot of emocional intelligence, which is the type of intelligence Saena(and Kyoko, who is developing it) lacks.
Saena's boyfriend seems interesting. He is humble and acts cutely, but is also perceptive and understands Saena's complex personality... I think he is a sly person, like that type who acts innocent and adorable, but knows how to persuade or convince people.
