I'm very confused now... Who exactly is Erie's partner? Norman or Mutou? And how the hell is Mutou executed? I thought in this manga's universe there isn't a death penalty?

I think Erie is always in love with Norman but Mutou took of the ring, he wanted to make him forget his past lover. In the end they had sex
