I thought the same thing and I finally finished reading all the chapters they have till now
I am pretty sure he was working for the opposite side of the case, because it said "4 days later", so basically, he sabotaged the case.

A pregnancy leads to falls of her own career and so she hates her own child because of that?
or maybe the guy that she had dinners with were trying to love but got rejected and she got so disgusted and hate her own child?
or so maybe the mother thought that she and him finally had sex but ended up being abandoned by the guy she love and from that onwards she hates her child because she reminds of him?
I can saw all this possibility coming.
