how do you pronounce yaoi?is it ya-oi or yawi?

For me is yaw......

you can pronounce yaoi with lo-ve or with li-fe.

It's pronounced yowie, like owe with a y at the beginning (at least that's the most common one I've heard)

It's ya-wi in english and ya-(w)o-ee in jap. Like aoi with y (this is a pretty common word so you should have heard it somewhere in anime).

i pronounce it like Ya-o-wee, but my friend says that its pronounced Ya-oy.. idk.

It may just be my own way of saying it, but I say ya-o-i
