I can't believe this got turned into a Manga....
I have read the novel ages ago. I remember liking it but some aspects of it baffled me. I'll tag the spoilers so read at your own risk.

You know the "there's goodness in evil" meme? Yeah this ml is the pure black thing. He's evil, manipulative, a liar, schemer, highly capable of ruining someone's like and fuck as it happens, and more...

I hate what befell the original female lead and her family. God! I think there should be revenge but not this bad.
Also the main character here (the dad) is so petty jebrnsnnda. He died and reincarnated, just to take the dragon he awakened (he protects the country I think?) to another place so the whole country gets destroyed. I don't remember precisely but I think the ml reincarnated as a dog? Someone remind me. The dad also gave a saint's ring to ogfl' sis which had a spell that causes her immense pain but it only works in her and if his daughter (who has the Saint ring) wears it, there's no signs.
Anyways, if you want to know the fate of og heroine and her family, I'm sure lost of ppl have commented it but here's the recap. Sisters get sold to a circus, get raped and pregnant. The ogfl tries to save, gets tricked, raped, pregnant, gives birth to beastman, the daughter is taken by the ringmaster (I think? Im sure someone took her). Brother gets sold too, and raped. I think he was a minor too. Also no one saves anyone sinve everyone is busy fucking.
The side couples are daughter and knight and priest and Knight. Also the ogml marries his cousin after the ogfl gives birth to beastman daughter.
The dad is manipulative, heartless, a schemer and a downright villain. The ml also gets blindly in love with him so that's that. Idr but I think the ml is daughter's husband's something? His dad maybe?
ANYWAYS the point is, there are a lot of dark themes, ugly pettiness, out of proportion revenge, and a lot more. This series isn't for the faint of heart or those who get triggered easily. It's the story of a true villain, someone who's very embodiment of melavolence. His actions are from the love of his daughter but they're very, very wrong for someone with normal morales. Read at your own risk since this is not going to get better. Unless you like worse.

I still can't believe it got an adaptation.... I'm still surprised
