I'm a gay lady, and I really just love gay manga, yuri and yaoi(though I pretty much only read yuri that's written by women)
Anyway, I think my mom actually knew that I liked gay romance before she knew I was gay. I just don't think she knew how explicit the things I was reading were.

If we get technical, I prefer to read BL. I like storyline and plot, and art, and I'm gay, I appreciate authentic relationships, but obviously you read something whimsical once in a while. I can't read anything with rape in it. I guess a lot of people just don't see the reality of it like I do. Sexual assault is too common in real life, I don't...... 1 reply
