I don’t know what goes on behind Original Ise but he needs to realize that Ise is who he is now through MC’s efforts, not his. Sure, MC made use of Ise’s resources but why didn’t he then? Because of his mentality, his incompetence, arrogance, and ignorance. He chose this, he gave up. I know depression is a sickness, it’s often uncontrollable but he cant ignore the efforts made by MC. The MC was even forced into his body, he didn’t even choose it. He wants to get revenge using the quest and had a second chance at life but he’s also completing Ise’s wish because HE wished for it. MC is fortunate but he can’t blame his misfortune on someone innocent. I hope they would have a compromise between the two but I was a bit pissed he fucked up the MC.
