I remember hearing about this too but like two years ago. I know Neolithic girl and jungle juice are both part of the same universe (these are webtoon). You could probably look this up on Reddit.

Tbh, it doesn't romanticize anything; it fully acknowledges Sangwoo as the psychopathic murderer he is, and it doesn't glorify it either (given the ending). It's the fanbase that's the problem; they dismiss Yoonbum as a MC and ignore how dysfunctional and toxic his and Sangwoo's relationship is (but yea I too hate that it's a TikTok trend).

definitely agree - I personally did not love the story after finishing it but I do see the appeal in the horror and psychological aspect of the story. I think the main problem is when ppl perceive it to be a yaoi/bl, which it is definitely not supposed to be at all, even the author confirmed it herself. like when some readers hyperfixate on what they believe to be “romance” and 2 dudes fucking is just wrong in so many ways
