I first started reading this in 2013. I've also watched the anime several times, especially the first few episodes. The family dynamic and specifically the relationship between Rin and Fujimoto have always been my favourit part of the story. All of it is just so heartbreaking and so complex, the sacrifices Fujimoto made and all of the guilt that Rin has been carrying since.
It's been around 7 years now and i finally got to witness a resolution to that part of the story.
This chapter was fucking perfect. I am bawling my eyes out. ╥﹏╥

i wish so! the closest thing is hanahaki disease but most characters die with hanahaki lol i hope this heart allergy becomes a thing
