I kiss on the mouth,I wouldn't say it's country wide but it's pretty common in my town.
I heard from other people that Americans do use kiss on the mouth as greeting. But it was traditional way and less and less people do so nowadays. You're from US right? What's the name of your town? ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
My towns name is Stevensville*yes in the USA * Its also a lot more common for girls to us kissing as a greeting then boys
