I want to thank everyone in the comment section. I am reading this purely for the reputation of Trashta, I go into this nervous but also pretty hype for the rage bait ( ̄∇ ̄")

I severely underestimated the amount of suffering this could reach after the revenge arc

Kind of rare, and if it keeps going as dark as it sounds they should add a tragedy tag

Some of us like the suffering. But wow this is a lot even for that (⊙…⊙ )

Spoiler Alert: This is a question about series endings, so please keep that in mind before answering them yourself/reading other responses. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

For me, I'm actually a pretty huge fan of series with happy endings, but a series with a sad/tragic/bad ending written well is still pretty good to me. I'm curious though about the times where a series is written off with a "happy ending" but it really didn't work and in fact just takes away from the story.

Across all genres, name a manga series and tell me why you weren't happy with the "happy ending". What would you change about it and why?

Anything that doesn't show a mortal lesson of leave a bad after taste without any feet her explanation is a BAD ending. ENDINGS without letting readers have a solide conclusion is in my book, A BAD ENDING.

Hey! I saw your message on Kubera about using overlays to read Navar webtoons in English. Can you explain what plug-ins I need and how to use them? :))

windupbird June 27, 2020 11:23 pm

Hi of course! Babo Kim scans had that plugin overlay on their website before LINE had officially licensed and started translating the Kubera webtoon. The purpose was to help support the webtoon on Naver originally but it’s not needed since LINE is official to support the author. This is the old website they used with the overlay. (It offers the download link and instructions)

The plugin is inactive now, but that group still translates the raws for Kubera a week earlier then official. They have a reddit that it’s posted for up to the latest chapter (not an overlay though)

Kubera is my favorite webtoon, enjoy! ヾ(☆▽☆)

You're very welcome! c:

I'll have to check Taiyou No Ie out, it sounds like it's a good manga. :>
I also might have to look into the The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles! It sounds really interesting~

Your picture is so cute~ ;>

Kanata September 9, 2014 2:07 am

and I like your name as well.. >o<;

xwindupbirdx September 11, 2014 6:14 am

Ahh thank you! >///> Thats very kind of you.

If your curious~
My avie is from Taiyou No Ie. Its a really good shoujo (I found it difficult to read in just one sitting because I didn't want it to end, the art is just too cute) but from your profile I think you'd like to read it. It has family issues, but its not tragedy/harem/love triangle.

As for the name, its based off the book The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles. A pretty trippy read actually, kind of like Alice in Wonderland.

Something of a compulsive romance manga addict.
