How long should a manga be? Like how many chapters are too many chapters? I know that it depends on the plot itself but when does it FEEL like it just keeps dragging on and building up drama and angst ?

i would think 30-60 for one arc of drama & story plot, but depends on how complex the story is and how long the chapters are.
YES well the story plot is a main factor . So are there any mangas that you feel that has dragged on their storyline and you felt that it was not necessary? .

Just went and checked the manga, in that first volume the art is a bit (〜￣△￣)〜 but if you check out the sequels, like http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/bi_no_kyoujin_smoke/ then it is kinda similiar....
Just wanted to say, don't let the art fool you, it's actually a reallly great manga to read ( assuming if you haven't already) (≧∇≦)
