Truth is, bakaupdates changed that Old Xian is a guy recently. Also, it is given that she is a male on her account, possibly because her alter ego with the funny back mask is a guy in Mosspaca Advertising Department. Damn. I wish that the author was a guy. It would make shounen ai and yaoi strictly not prohibited to female mangakas.

The info on Old Xian's gender was changed recently.

the first chapter is a one shot, just like the tokyo ghoul one shot~ there IS more stuff about their friendship and past in the chapters that aren't scanlated yet. I also hope there's no romance but who knows.

I agree. It's a shame the author had to turn it all reverse harem-ish on us most likely to make it more marketable. The heroine is ok though.

You think it will be reverse harem? For right now after seeing the ep 6 the anime is more heavy toward shounen genre. Cause if this series turn to be reverse harem with romance tag the genre definitely shoujo/romance/slife of life series. Thats what I think also there's probably gonna have romance subtle but not entirely romance unless Tachibana confess to both male mc that she's a girl cause spoiler here Masamune seems like to like her...:)

I never argued it wasn't shounen. The suffix "-ish" is there for a reason, if you don't mind linguistic nuances.

Nope I don't mind and I'm never saying you ever argue for shounen tag instead I'm asking whether this is gonna be reverse harem later thats all?... ╮(￣▽￣)╭
And the reason I'm saying this was shounen cause the story focus more on battle rather than romance so when you said the author turn it into reverse harem I'm start to think like this omg this will be shoujo cause I love the series just nooo...:3

I was saying that it is reverse harem-ISH, meaning the vibes are there what with the girl-thrown-into-a-sea-of-hot-men situation (in comparison to AxK's oneshot where there's no girl, only bromance - which is why fujoshis are quite upset) but I don't think it is/will be a full-blown reverse harem like say Utapri where 90% of the guys have their eyes on the girl mc and anyway reverse harems only work for shoujo anyway. I agree that if there's gonna be anything resembling romance in this manga it's going to be subtle.

That said, I still prefer the oneshot.

Ya true true. I dont mind the heroine at all, its just that the only animes/mangas I've seen that start off with friends often end with broken friendships over the girl sighs but if this is heading more towards shounen and action, then i have no qualms~
