I've been reading a lot of stories here with big age gaps and I've seen a lot of comments about them being weird and uncomfortable. I mean I understand they are in REAL LIFE, but y'all need to know this is FICTION right? you don't have to be mean to the authors saying they're pedos or perverts for making stories like that. they did their best to make it, to entertain us readers. if you don't like that kind of genre why not just stay away from it? it only takes very few seconds to check the tags and decide if you're interested in it or not. it just irks me how disrespectful some of you are
The problem is that a lot of stories with pedophilia/child grooming/rape does not actually come with any sort of warning. It’s actually horrifying the amount of rape and abuse that’s wrapped up in a pretty pink shoujo bow. It’s probably the same for genres like shounen. It’s disturbing when webtoons aimed at minors come without trigger warnings and normalise and romanticise extremely twisted relationships.
Ikr theres a manhwa im reading(you probably already know this) where the FL and the ML is only 3 years apart and they don't start to develop romantic feeling until the FL becomes an adult but almost everyone keeps saying the MLs a pedo.. like what
so I have a Jujutsu Kaisen sickness which means I don't have the energy nor the interest to read or watch other manga and anime unless it's got to do with Jujutsu Kaisen, so far I've been just scrolling through this site and adding some mangas to my "want to read" list and adding a thousand of pictures that's related to Jujutsu from Pinterest. anyone got some medicine/advice for this lost soul?
