The epilogue ends with the author saying there will be a short break and then they will continue the story, so I think there is at least some more coming in the future. I feel like the author is setting up a "them starting their bakery" storyline to finish it out. At least I hope so. But there is definitely more coming based on what the author wrote in that epilogue and the translators putting "see you for season 5" at the top.
HAS BEEN GOING FOR FIFTY CHAPTERS! OH MY GOODNESS! This match is agonizing in how much detail it does in for each thing that happens. I wanna know what happens so bad, but I feel like the author hasn't even decided who should win the game and is just drawing it out in the hopes they figure it out....*dying*
I actually like that they go into the emotional back stories so much because it makes this match so much more meaningful. I think this is what makes this manga special — that it shows better than any other sports manga how winning never comes easy and is truly a result of collective effort by each and every individual. I cry every time I see a backstory XD
There have been so many layered on top of each other I honestly couldn't tell you a specific one at the moment, beyond the last one told in the most recent chapter. Its just too much for me. While I like the collective effort part, it's just forever long in reading. I love this manga and will still read it, but this arch is killing me.
I am pretty sure the confusion is actually Tian Cai/tai's. I think as a child he thought the person was his aunt and so that's what we thought. But the author is letting us know that they are actually Tian Cai's uncle (hence the note that the AUTHOR never said the person was a woman previously). Thus, none of this is a translation issue but part of the story.
pretty sure this is true because ialso assumed the uncle is a woman XDD she prettier than me T^T
