2023: i think i like the manipulative stories because it forces the guy to step down and admit his feelings. the supposed victim has no way of figuring it out, and i like those sorts of circumstances. they are better when the scenarios are objectively difficult to unpack feelings out of — “waterside night” and “checkmate” for example. following “jinx” since ch.6, and THAT will be a huge growth in character for joo jae-kyung.
