The first prince won't be the next in line anymore. His younger brother will. The heroine will try to get Aquaspeed by injuring the villainess, but it will backfire as Aquaspeed will protect her. She will be incarcerated in a tower and be married with the first prince. She will not be executed because the villainess forgave her, Aquaspeed agreed, and because she has a holy magic. One that can cast a spell to protect the entire kingdom.
In other words, the heroine is needed. But incarcerated still.
The best part is when the prince realises how much in love the villainess was, and that the heroine, in actuality, just was...''in love'' with every male friend she had. In other words..he realises he is still in love with the villainess, but was too dumb and foolish to realise it until it was too late. He realised that her harsh words, was all thinking about his own safety, well being and the future of the Kingdom itself. A future King shouldn't act shamelessly, and he did. That's why she was so harsh.
