It is known here as "hollow lovers" and I was skeptical at fist since the cover art didn't really pull me in and the summary I read was slightly inaccurate, but.... words really can't convey how hooked I became the minute I began reading! Once I started I seriously couldn't stop and I think I blew through $10 in my bank account just to get caught up on the whole thing in one afternoon!!

Anyway, because I want other people to experience the same joy that I have been blessed with this day, I will highlight some of my favorite things without spoilers.

1. I'm a sucker for the "jerk seme" trope- wherein the seme is kind of a dick, or has a rough side, but is not actually a dumpster fire of a human being.

2. The seme and the uke are both actually well developed and likable characters!!! they initially seem to follow some cliches but the further into the story you go, the more it becomes apparent that they are actually people with lives and aspirations.

3. Consent! Seme is adamant about his consent policy. I know this is important for a lot of people.

4. So hot! Seme and uke are both so hot!

5. Gay man vs straight man trope, not something I personally find myself drawn to often but the way it was handled here was very interesting.

6. The plot goes DEEP. The summary undersells it a lot. Once the drama unfolds everything goes right down the stairs.

7. (last but certainly not least) chemistry!! they fit together so well!! they feel like a pair you really want to root for!!

And I can't really say much else about it without spoiling but I promise it's worth the read!!

I was almost raped last night in a public park (I'll include the story below) and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some manga with non-con in it? BL if possible, please!

To summarize: I wasn't attacked from the bushes or anything! I actually did a pretty stupid thing. I went to the park with a person that I had a falling out with in high school because I was hoping I could potentially give them a chance to show me a better side of them(?) if that makes sense. But I think he just wanted a fuck buddy. He was being pretty calm on the first night.

I didn't really want to go again that second night, but I figured I might as well since I had nothing better to do(?). Things were okay at first, but he kept pressuring me to get high so we did, and he started forcing himself on me even though I told him I didn't want to be doing that sort of thing in public. He kept trying to undress me and stuff and it got to the point where I snapped at him and he got upset.

Sooo i ignored him and he ignored me ignoring him, even though I probably should have just slapped him and walked away then. But he messaged my friend since he was frustrated with me and she rushed over to bring me home! Since apparently this guy has a habit of trying to bang his ex's friends to get back at her.

Anyway, I'm fine now but that could have been bad I guess. Also I hope it doesn't sound too dramatic by calling it 'rape'. I personally consider pressuring someone into sex/touching/groping them without their consent to be rape. Or at the very least rapist behavior.

Moral of the story: Stay safe out there and don't get high/intoxicated or be alone with people you don't completely trust!!

BL in which the seme kind of mistreats the uke? But through various events realizes how important he is/how much he loves him. Or something along those lines. Basically someone who is cold & distant at first but grows affectionate & possessive.

For some reason I can no longer use the arrow keys to turn the pages. Not a big deal but super annoying, and it's working on some tabs but not others?! And I've closed the browser twice but it's still doing it, even when I completely open a new tab and find the same manga on that new tab. I don't get what's happening.

My coworker introduced me to her daughter yesterday (we're around the same age) because she's been meaning to do that for a while but her daughter just ignored me? She was radio silent the entire time and seemed kind of annoyed. She wouldn't even give her mom the front seat. It kind of hurt.

I understand being shy, I'm very shy around people too, and I get very anxious. But she just seemed... impatient. I honestly don't understand what I did to annoy someone who I've never met before. It's possible that she was just having a bad day, but... OTL
