do you know of any romance mange where the female lead character is not stupid or helpless and not completly reliant on the rest of the characters action-romance or adventure-romance would be preferable

Ditto on the "Skip beat."
Same author, "Tokyo Crazy Paradise" is another worthy title.
"Miriam" is pretty adorable and action oriented and western themed. And nobody messes with the MC, Miriam Todd.
And if you like "Miriam", "From Far Away" is a beautiful piece of work from the same author, though the MC is much more the typical female lead. The plot, character and world building is near perfect though and more than make up for so.e of the cliches.
Speaking of beautiful pieces of work, "otoyome megatari", is gorgeous. Strong females in a truly historical setting. It's fiction but not fantasy. And the artwork IS art. Stunning landscapes, gorgeous people, textiles you wish you could run your hands over and food you can practically smell. Highly recommend.

Having to write my thesis sucks more. I'd like to be sick. Then i could take more time to write. Yesterday i saw a really dark cloud and i thought "Well if there'd be an apocalypse now i wouldn't have to write my thesis anymore." ... I'm desperate. Neither do i want to be sick. Neither do i want you to be sick or die of an apocalypse. (~~~Get well soon! Try drinking sage-eucalyptus tea with honey. Always helps me ^^)

i feel bad for the dad. Yeah he protected his too much but i think he was in denial he didn't want to belief that the son he loved could be that horrible. So it was devastating when that blindfold was striped from him. I know a lot of people won't agree with me.
