do you find it embarassing to let other people know that you're a fujoshi/fudanshi?
Cause i have a friend who doesn't want anyone to know he's a fudanshi, he's embarassed about it and afraid of judgement. I want to know about users in here.
I am not embarrassed. People who read Fifty Shades of Gray should be embarr...nah, no judgments, you like what you like. Pedophiles though ... nope.
I don't mind saying it in front of my friends, but I stop if they ask 'what's a fujoshi'
Well at first I was embarrassed but I had a bunch of friends who were fujoshis so there was no judgment
Not even a little.. I respect other people tastes and I'm free to like what I like. Besides, a lot of people like R-18, a lot of boys find hot to imagine two girls together... everyone has their fetishes and I like to read yaoi, I'm happy about it, not harming anyone, so what is bad about it?

I don't like to use the term fujoshi, it's gotten such a bad rep and doesn't really describe what I feel I am anyway. But my friends know I read yaoi. They don't care. I read pretty much everything I can get my hands on really that has a decent plot and good writing. lol I don't really tell people though what I'm reading unless they ask. Then I'm just open about it. Most of the time it either ends up with them embarrassed or asking more questions. I prefer the questions, it's more fun. lol
