So i am just asking this to see others introduction into the genre as I want to comfort myself in like a community of people who are not afraid to express this stuff. (Just dont talk about it too often if we somehow begin contact with one another) I recently made an account so you know new and all and also want to embrace this bs cuz 1, hot 2, need people who will like not be cocks and 3, why not.

So it all started somewhere in late 2015 where my little sis somehow got into shouhen ai anime and i didnt know but on hulu i saw some odd anime listings and the name of it was "Junjo Romantica." My curiousity peaked after looking at the listing several times in the recently watched section. So i looked into it and the first episode gave me some odd vibes to say the least I didnt hate it but it seemed the age between the two was to far apart and that was honestly my only issue but after watching the second episode i became hooked the fluffy adorable bulletproof unrealistic love got to me and I ended up finishing the series.
After doing so however i abandoned it for a later time and my "habit" had to reschedule. A few months down the line after getting the sudden urge to find more like this i find another anime "Sekai Hatsukoi" and i finish that and at that time my "habit" became an excessive hobby and then enter manga i started off with some manga i dont remember but like most it was short but it wasn't very detailed so it sat well with me. However something that really turned tables was "10 count" and my god i loved how filthy it was like I read up to about chapter 18-20 and i hadent realized it but uh, I soiled my pants (also a guy btw) until i checked that is. And that only deepend my hobby into an guilty pleasure and from that point on i wanted to find manga that just gave me that "Mmmmm das hot." Feeling and then i hopped around finding several intresting ones one of which being "Blood bank." And honestly that one opened my eyes to a whole new world of kink which I now hope to enjoy and experience. Lol but yeah das it i am obsessed with yaoi and am also bi cuz of it too. (Mainly cause hotototot) but no yeah it has been a real eye opener so yeah and i also have cat ears too so that's on the weirder side but hey idgaf (=・ω・=)
I was around 10-12 years old (young age I know lol) before I became a closet fujoshi and no one knew of this except my closest friend in my life (who I actually met online). She didn't mind my secret at all cause we were in the same boat, shipping SoRiku and various normal characters non shounen ai animes. I tried multiple times to close off the gay pairings and yaoi, but sadly it didn't work and anytime I tried and it came back the gayness got "worse" (better imo now lol). Eventually I realized something most people would disagree to and thought "It's sexual intercourse between same sexes, a common action done by different sexes for ages just for different reasons usually to create offspring. So why is this such a frowned upon interest in the world? I guess some people just don't feel comfortable with exposed parts being shown which is understandable.". So now today 2 or 3 more of my friends (not parents) know but not much has changed from their POV knowing my interests in yaoi, except maybe their now even more scared of me, and actually the newest anime Yuuri on Ice!!! (<3) probably opened a GIANT door and introduced a lot of new people into supporting gay pairings. Not just because YOI is popular, but because the show between the two main characters is pure love and nothing is forced because their feelings are mutual even if the words "I love you." are never spoken. I think now that the community is slowly accepting gay/bi couples it's no longer something that is horribly bad.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still horribly obsessed with yaoi as well, to the point where ANY and I mean ANY porn/hentai can't effect me in a bad way or make me close my browser.

Then I saw these very good looking guy as a manga cover and decided to give it a try. I was shook because on the very first page was a sex scene, a hardcore one. It was my first yaoi scene after all, so I closed my tab and play with my psp instead.
I went back to it after a few days and get hooked. And that's how I became a fujoshi.
I was into shojo at first but then i found yaoi and i have been a fujoshi ever since and then suddenly i found out one of the kid in my class is a fujoshi too and we just get along so well together it all started when i recommend her to read 10 count i didnt tell her it was yaoi but then she was like is this 10 count yaoi? After some time i got bored, so i started reading mangas and after i finished koisuru boukun it was a real new experience for me. It was all innocent but then I have read KILLING STALKING AND NOW IM SO CRAZY ABOUT THEM...I started getting into fandoms and literally shipped every hot boys (i even shipped my bf with someone lol) I was never contented if my pairing never have kinky sex and would read yaoi until 2am just to see my otp.
Well for me about 2 years ago my boyfriend kept making jokes about boku no pico so i decided to watch it and i was like 'you watch shit like this!? We should break up' but oh well... then i started watching flu... Uchihaa
