It does seem like people are allowing their personal hatred or love for a character justify them misinterpreting the plot, or thinking their presumptions based on personal hate or affection for a character are factual. Both characters are criminals at the end of the day, but as readers it's surely better to look at the full picture of information provided, rather than have a bias where one character gets demonised, and the other gets a free pass. Even if Bum was deemed to have diminished capacity at the time of the two murderers, he would still face a penalty in court such a being detained at a hospital. It does seem rather simplistic to paint a character as "evil" as it's showing zero understanding of how a person, was motivated to commit crime like murder.

There are probably more who like him than Bum, though I dunno why.

I don't dislike him being a Murderer, since there are cases when it happens in an instant, but a Abuser and Rapist as well, where the people damn know what the fuxk they are doing.
His crimes are worse than the one's of Bum's uncle, but Woo is more liked cuz he ain't ugly and is a MC.
