I'm an independent writer at the Moment - I've already written a lot of Fanfictions, poems, even one song (but not a really good one, I guess, but it was just for fun anyway) and three novels up until now. It's a lot of fun and I really love it when someone says they love my work, because I'm happy when I can make others happy with what I write. Bu......   reply

I'm asexual aromantic, but didn't quiet know about it back then - thought I might be a late bloomer, or whatever. So, since that's said, I can tell you about my first kiss. It was when a guy came up to me, saying he fell in love with me. I didn't know what to do, so I gave in when he asked me out on a date. After the movie we went to, he pushed a k......   4 reply

My first Yaoi was an Anime called "Sekaiichi Hatsukoi". I didn't really know that genre before, but as soon as I got used to it, I started to love it, too. But that's already a while ago ...   5 reply

No reading comprehension, but mostly also no ability to read, from my experience. Write more than three lines of text, and random people will come in droves to let you know they didn't read it, because it was too much text. It's a curious thing indeed.   3 reply

I don't know how this summary sounds like hundreds of stories I've read in my lifetime, yet not specifically one in particular.   reply

First of all, I find it more cringe that the concept of writing a story or fanfiction is somehow meant to be cringe? Or did I misinterpret that? I don't know, may be a pet pieve of mine, because I am a writer myself. Aside from that, writing FanFictions is like riding a bike on training wheels, and the amount of people reading them make it clear it......   2 reply

Am I the only one who understands that it's about two characters and their experiences? And do you need to be taught that insults are meant to hurt? They weren't on friendly terms and the whole scene made it clear that it was supposed to shock - not the audience in the real world per se, but literally the classroom within the story. Stories should ......   9 reply

Tikky's question ( All 1 )

Looking for a specific trope in that subcategory, to be exact. I asked a similar question before, but that was about a different trope - just in case anyone could remember something like that.
Anyway, I'm looking for (mainly Webtoons) with the trope of the hated MC that changes overnight. Mostly found in Webtoons with transmigration- or timetravel-themes.
»Hated« may not be the best word for it, but imagine a story about a person that is viewed as useless, trashy, stupid, aweful, or simply a waste of oxygen by all of their peers and family. Then, one day, they wake up and decide to change, so everyone is shocked. I dig this trope, but of course the MC must be kind of (in)famous, so people would have an opinion of them, be it based on personal experience or just rumors. If nobody knew them or if they started off as a toddler to begin with, then there is no change that anyone could take note of.
The perfect example of what I'm looking for would be »Trash of the Count's Family«, but fear not, Fam - I won't ask for the impossible. There may be no second Trash Count out there, but there's similar stories, that shall suffice.
A few good examples: »The Lord’s Coins Aren’t Decreasing?!«, »I Became the Ugly Lady«, »I Became the Villain's Mother«, »The Great Mage Returns After 4000 Years« or »Bug Player« (though that one ran stale quite fast, to be honest).
Another good one, which also hits the mark even though it's a little off from the perspective of the other examples would be »Actually, I was the Real One« - like, when she changes a lot after she returns to her past, because of how her past future has changed her view on the world and, especially, her relationship (or lack there of) with her father. And I love the revenge-thought in this one. Revenge is always a plus for me.
So, as you can see, I already read a few stories like that, don't know how many are still out there, but I hope someone knows another good one or two that I haven't found yet. Recommend away, if you are able and willing to do so.
I also don't really care if the MC is male or female, as you can also see through my given examples, but I do prefer male ones and a little more action / strategy for success (with female leads there may be plans or strong abilities, but it always falls a little short in that department compared to stories like Trash Count or even The Lord's Coins and actual Action isn't that prevalent either, instead, the focus on romance is greater, which I prefer even less). In other words, if there's an action-centric story of that trope with a FL, I'm all ears. But overall, if the story is any good, I will give it a try anyway.
I'm just a sucker for that trope, honestly ╮( ̄▽ ̄")╭
