Yes. What happened was Yoshiki had his luggage stolen, which had his passport in it. He was at the police station taking care of it when the train he was supposed to be on was in an accident. The person who stole his luggage was the one that died, but his face was so torn up from the accident that he couldn't be identified. It was thought to be Yoshiki because he had his I.D. and luggage.
