I might be wrong cause I already forgot some details but if I remember correctly the person who sent her to Korea is her Unnie to protect her and I think they were young that time or smth happened which is why she forgot that they’re twins. Also, Unnie could’ve used magic to erase her memories. The novel that she read only exist for her to know what’s happening on the other side which is the world of her Unnie to show her and update her I guess on what’s happening even if she doesn’t remember anything. Ps: I’m not really sure so don’t get mad if I said smth wrong.
