I am kinda dissapointed on the manhwa, it was good at first but then they changed the artist :( The donghua is awesome but they didn't show many important details because censorship so yea, I totally recommend better the novel.
Details and censorship??? well, i cant really tell because the manhua is going the same way as the novel, like the timeline, while in the donghua starts the same as the novel and the manhua BUT then you have the part of the flashbacks instead of going the same way than the novel.
The novel goes something like this: present time, present time, mentions of the past, goes back again to the present time, goes again to the past, etc etc. (blessed flashbacks); the donghua goes from present time and then when after the mountain part ends they go the entire season to the past (flashbacks).
Now, the donghua has censorship, yes, specially since the novel is reaaaaaaally descriptive so that might be the case, specially on the deaths of characters; idk if they are going to have censorship on the case of gay shit but maybe??? but tbh the ultra gay shit happens at the end of the novel (chap. +111) so you will not see it soon nor in the manhua nor the donghua.
