So things don't always end the way we expect or want them to. This was not our story to tell. I enjoyed the ending and i loved that the character finally found the peace and happiness that they fought so hard for. Thank you Tite Kubo for all your years of hard work and dedication

Who is making death threats? People are disappointed with the ending, that is their honest reaction, and if Kubo wants it to end like this that is his prerogative, but fans can still feel disappointed, especially with so many things left hanging and a few WTF moments - it is not being insulting, just not happy with how abrupt it was. Seems like many feel this way. And Kubo will probably never read this anyway.

a lot of people on tumblr and facebook are making death treats but i think there just mad and upset I know the ending felt so rush I think it would of been better to not make any couple canon just ending with friendship or him becoming a captain or leave it to are imagination because if it would of been the other way around other people would of been disappointed or mad kubo can't keep everyone happy I guess everyone just have to respect his decision on how he wanted to end his work I will always love bleach the anime and manga and will always rewatch the show
Uh excuse me but the reason any mangaka has success is because of the fans. While it is most certainly his right to do whatever he wants with his story you cannot argue that he is trying to make his fans happy. I think I would be less disappointed if he had given hints that it would take this kind of turn. This is not like Attack on Titan where we know the author will break our hearts no matter what. This is Kubo telling his fans to go fuck themselves. It should have ended at 685-- let everyone dream up their own '10 Years From Now' scenario. The kicker for me was taking Ichigo the badass and turning him into a domestic pussy. Bleach deserved a better ending. And Orihime is legit the worst choice. #idknotorihimetho

One piece is neverending but people still read and enjoy it even though it's still the same plot. So tell me, are you guys really "fans"?

People are allowed to have opinions on the stories they have followed for years and years. I was kind of disappointed myself, but am still a fan. Just because you are happy with the ending does not mean that others do not have dissenting opinions, so there is no need to rant at an opinion being expressed. If you were unhappy with a story (you note One Piece here as something you seem to be unhappy with) - would you travel to Japan and try to change the authors mind? Probably not, so give it a rest.

I'm saying that one piece is a never ending chapter with the same plot that they still didn't reach the grand line but no one complained it and they still read it. Bleach is also the same plot what with Ichigo getting powers and then lose then win, new enemy, lose then win, and then a happy ending came but people are so disappointed, they never even said "thank you" to Tite Kubo. Have you ever saw a thank you comment for Tite? No (except the original user and the other person's comment).
You can have your opinions but why isn't there no appreciation for the author too?

I never said your were hating, just seemed a little unhappy. Personally I got tired of the same old stuff coming from this manga, and I stopped reading Naruto a long way back for those reasons. As for the 'thank yous' I doubt Kubo would be reading these comments anyway, so there is no real point in thanking the author, the scanlation team? Yes. If Kubo knew his work was being read without getting royalties, I don't think he would be happy either. Most of the fans here are just expressing frustration with the abruptness and less than satisfying conclusion here - I think I remember seeing the same on the Naruto pages.
Yes I am, or rather was, a fan. As someone who bought the manga, merchandise, dvds, etc. I am free to express my dissatisfaction with a story I have supported for many years. I should not have to "thank" Kubo for a half-assed attempt at an ending. Some people may have been satiafied with it but some were not. Of course 685 chapters is long, which is what is so upsetting. To have come this far for a shit ending is a slap in the face. Also I recall hearing Bleach was originally slated to end at 685 but for whatever reason another chapter was added. No matter what anyone says it's the ending that will be remembered here for all the wrong reasons- at least as far as I'm concerned.

I too enjoyed the ending, i liked the way you wrapped things up Kitten-chan. 15 years is along time to write one manga. Way to go Tite Kubo.
