I didn’t cry either, and everyone was saying how it would destroy my emotional stability (I don’t have one anyway), but I was actually happy with the ending, hated Jieng (idk his name) and loved the doctor, I pity him so much, i pitied mistress a bit too, since he didn’t know about the relationship at first, unfortunate he didn’t live maybe he could have found love. Either way I felt satisfied with the ending, it would have been very anticlimactic if the poor guy lived.
