If this was meant to be a serious rape story that would be a very tasteless and tacky comment to make..which leads me to think it's meant to be viewed like Hidoku Shinaide, View Finder, or Caste Heaven. A dark fantasy yaoi. The fact it's been pages and pages of them going at it like rabbits in graphic detail, will them both full on blushing, and with no plot change says it all. When the plot change happens it will be Haruki accepting Hikaru. And everyone who thought it would be different in this section will be crying.
But this sort of rape that goes on and on and on IS realistic. Rape victims who couldn't speak up for years IS realistic. How many times have we read "why did it toook you so lo g to report him? Did you like it before and what made you stop liking it and called it rape
And let us not even talk about marital rape.
My point is, up until now, everything still jives. Everything is still painfully realistic.
It's advertising, meant to gain reader interest. People advertise the drama genre like that all the time. It's a marketing ploy used outside of manga too like on drama tv shows. The goal is to get more people interested in buying the manga each month and it works. It would make no sense for an author to spoil such a crucial detail of the story, which is why it was given as question. I believe Kashio intentionally wrote/drew this manga in a way that leaves the readers uncertain of the outcome. I don't believe Haruki will ever be truly accept Hikaru, even if they were to end up together, such as is the case in Viewfinder and Caste Heaven. As of now, nothing is confirmed so there's still the possibility Haruki will reject Hikaru (the intro scene is the strongest evidence that may still happen). People need to take the twitter posting with a grain of salt and look for details in the actual manga to form opinions on instead.
