E probably. I'm too weak to defend myself physically or verbally. If I tried to step in, I would be bullied as well.

D for me because i personally don't have the courage to call someone out in person (it's just my character).. also not sure about teachers since if it was that severe it would probably go straight to the police from me.

E would also work for me but I wouldn't befriend the victim per se, i'd just go out of my way to make them feel better for a few minutes and then go on with my life afterward... im not about to carry a burden i dont need for the sake of being 'nice' or out of 'pity'

Exactly. Most or at least some humans are empathetic creatures, we can feel how someone else suffers and unconsciously feel the desire to stop the suffering of another.

d, although this may not sound super pleasant, but i’d also take photos or vids for evidence. not e though, not trying to offend others since i saw a lot of ppl were saying they’d do that.. i get that you’re trying to be sympathetic and helping me, but i think it would kind of feel like they’re mocking me if i were the victim.

Nope. It is pleasant and actually the smart thing to do in my opinion. At some cases tho i may end up doing c, I'm rather impulsive.
Also i completely understand your point. As a person who has been bullied before, my mindset during those events was rather chaotic. I was depressed and any sort of kindness would end up making me feel as if the other person is pitying me. Nobody wants to be pitied.

the funeral example is a completely different situation that doesn't at all connect with feelings that lead you to help or not to help someone. In a funeral that person has died, is already lost and you've never met them, of course you won't cry but in a situation were someone gets bullied you have the chance to help the person since you're empathetic. You feel what they feel, which is suffering and since you don't want to be in a situation like that yourself you unconsciously don't want that person to feel and experience something bad either. You see yourself in their place. Plain as that. If you were in a sticky situation yourself, you'd need someone to stop it. You treat others how you want to be treated, with warmth. Of course not everyone is like that and not everyone would understand what i mean. Many people have low or zero empathy and i guess that's natural to them since this is how they grew. To some the sentence "Each on their own" is a way of life. I'm not judging, I'm just mentioning.

Yessss exactly. I feel you on a spiritual level. I think i need some sort of practice. It's wasteful when we spend our feelings, even anger to people that use their brain only when it comes to basic functions like breathing.

I've had years of experience and honestly, it doesn't get any better. I always get unreasonably angry someone with negative iq. The most logical choice would probably be to walk away from the argument and save your precious braincells.

yeah, it's ultra hard to hold your anger, and yes sadly the only way to stop it is by simply ignoring the conversation. At least the anger by ignoring it will be only for a few seconds compared to you actually answering and ruining your mood. I really need practice for that

I'm not sure which comments you mean in particular but I have been bothered by some people assuming everhone can handle fear and threats and get mad at victims for not doing anything when they are scared or anxious... People face threat differently and not everyone moves on within seconds and get their rationality back

yup! That's part of what i mean. They literally have zero knowledge and respond based on their own emotions and what they think is right instead of analyzing different perspectives and providing any solid proof that what they claim is right. They think that just because they are a certain way, that others have to be that too.

Rather than that I see it more as them forgetting they are the observer so they have the big picture while the character has a narrow vision and can't see clearly since they are trapped within their emotional box.
It's kinda the same thing when people shout at their tv when someone can't see something in their blind spot but viewers can and they get frustrated

Don't force yourself to like something you don't. Personally I can like characters by ignoring there personalities but sometimes their personalities are impossible to ignore and I drop it. It's a natural thing not a switch to consciously turn on and off (at least for me). There are a bunch of other nice characters that are extremely hot anyways.

yes, thankfully there are hot redeemable or nice from the start characters too out there but still I can't help but get disappointed when many nicely drawn stories get to have characters that are so shitty they make me see them distorted. It's a waste of nice art.

Yeah I think that's something everyone feels. Like I'll read a story that caught my attention because the nice art on the cover and the mc ends up breaking 5 basic human rights in the first chapter alone lol

This is what's make me keep going but sometimes there are some characters that's to much for me to handle. But I also question myself sometimes why I like certain character, Like girl he m*rdered people, why am I attracted to him the f （/TДT)/

Many characters are drawn good-looking so just have to draw yourself back to the real world a bit for characters like these. I try to think about the person's characteristics on a real person and I get disgusted so much that I am able to drop that work and not try to tough it out to see the story through to the end.
