Knowing it's a romance and knowing she's in fifth grade, I hope he either waits suuuuper long or finds someone else his age. Maybe date the older sister or something ^-^. Very cute art style though.
This is more of a slightly ecchi comedy, imho. Even the lolis are dancing around the romance with tongue firmly in cheek! Serious romance? Nah, I don't think so. The way the story and characters are written, it would take some major changes to bring serious romance to the story.
