Ah, a kindred spirit!! To be honest, I am moody, overly sarcastic, and paranoid to the point I frequently question whether the people around me are mind readers and start silently chanting song lyrics. I am a horrid conversationalist and tend to mentally curse anyone who even attempts to speak with me. Also, whenever I start getting too comfortable, the filter for my thoughts breaks down and I start leaking out very blunt thoughts and lighter profanity.

In the looks department, I'd say I'm average (thinking positively?), but it definitely doesn't balance out my awkward behavior and rude personality. Sadly, I have many allergies, so most animals, including cats, would not be an option for me so if I don't end up with someone, I'll probably become a complete hermit ╮(￣▽￣)╭

HAhaha!! The stuff about the mind reading and chanting song lyrics is so true, I do that all the time, to the point where I sometimes start to question my sanity...

Ah, but you see, these cat collectors are not depressed. They are caring for creatures they adore and I imagine they feel ecstatic about that. Animals are quite soothing, so I'd say you could never become a "depressed" cat lady. What I am trying to say is that life is what you make of it. Instead of focusing on how you or others percieve yourself, focus on the world, or your hobbies, or strange, silly thoughts. No need for a blossoming personality or celebrity looks. Try to find happiness within yourself.

So I am not the only one who does that! Makes me feel a bit less bonkers (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

As for the your pet suggestions, I have a penchant for losing stuff and also happen to suck at finding things so the rock would be gone within a week. As for the fish, I've seen them die horribly due to people's forgetfulness or thoughtlessness and, being lazy, absentminded human being that I am, I know that I'd probably accidentally end its life prematurely.

Thanks for the thought though! I guess I'll just have to stick with attempting to make conversations with Siri and other AIs for now

Aww! That's sweet <3 The problem is that I can't find anyone willing to actually date me, and I'm not the type to have a lot of close friends either, so I guess I'm just worried I'll end up alone ╥﹏╥
Pets are great, but I still like actual human contact...

BUT, I guess it's also possible to pay someone to be your conversationalist, like maybe a psychiatrist, or just some random guy on the internet!! But if you do go for the psychiatrist they would probably be able to help with the paranoia... maybe
