So why yaoi? Well that's easy- because it's there (lol jk). In all honesty, it's because I think that the stories are more realistic than the ones in shoujo manga, and don't get me wrong, I've read a lot of both. I just prefer yaoi. Maybe it's also because shoujo reminds me of how permanently single I am lol
I have way too many kinks when it comes to yaoi and am super open to pretty much any story or pairing. But I draw the line at super massive age differences though (15 years or bigger- gotta have room for the sensei x student pairings in there).
