Well, it's not an unhappy ending, is it? It's just kind of open ended. And I had a very positive feeling in the end. One along the lines: "If their love is really strong, they will come together much stronger. If not, they will have learnt a valuable experience and will cherish their memories of the time spent together. Forever".
