Okay, maybe it's because I haven't read the other Blue Drop stuff that this author has written, but this doesn't make me particularly keep to try. The problems in this story are worse than just a lack of exposition or anything else - the plot is pulled along by stupid contrivances, and if an author is okay with putting them in one series, who's to say that will change? The plot started out pretty average, "Aliens made me do it" is pretty common and a decent enough jumping off point, but then it got really hamfisted with how Very Much the aliens made them do it, a whole backstory of hating men and the men being objectifying and misogynistic creeps, the story not having a resolution as much as a steep cliff drop off, and a contrived "A takes B here because...plot." Seriously, why did Kotoko take Kouta to Amune street if A., she knew about Amune and how much they hated men, B., that he would be killed and that would put a pretty big damper on her crush on him, and C., what was even the point in the first place??? She could've gone *anywhere* but she decided to take him directly to a place where should be knowingly and actively putting him in danger????????? This plot is stupid and the characters are stupid and I feel stupider for reading it

Just started reading this. I'm up to chapter 6 now, but I just had to speak my mind so far:
This could be funny and erotic, but the aliens just had to be cruel, dominating rapists. Kotoko's backstory hurts my heart. Completely killed the eroticism and humor. I just want to see those aliens blown out of the sky now.
Ch.6 "Aw, sudden show of sympathy, here's a handkerchief crying little girl we coerced and raped earlier, then outed her love which was tantamount to attempted murder." Fuck those bitches, fuck these aliens, I am not gaining any fucking sympathy for them.
Oh look, Ma-chan is being silly to the stiff alien Razael who forced a gender-change on Kenzou, currently coercing him to have sex (ie, rape), and has repeatedly ordered the murder of Shouta. I can't even laugh, I am just too pissed. Die aliens, choke on your own lesbian jizz and die again.
Dammit, that nurse's office scene, heart hurting even more. Don't fucking half-heartedly apologize you rapist bitches. Kotoko, you poor, poor girl, you never got a choice.
Yeah, the ending wasn't satisfying. Sad, with a bit of hope, but still fucked up.
Ugh, I hate that Kotoko is receiving comfort from those rapist bitches; they needed to die, their looks of concern disgust me. How about she end up with a non-rapist Arume at least, huh? So PISSED.
At least I got to see those fucking aliens blown out of the sky for real. Good job Penpal-san.
What the hell was with those suicide bombers out of the blue? Like, what? Okay, author-san, guess you're not going to go into any explanation on that sudden bizarre tactic from a technologically superior race?
So after reading this, I am left disgruntled and unhappy. Another of the author's work, Balance Policy, likewise didn't end satisfactorily for me. Makes me a little worried about how "After School of the Earth (Chikyuu no Houkago)" will end.
Needs a sequel/last chapter. I know the 12th chapter was called the last chapter but it was a horrible (Although a twist, and realistic) ending in my opinion. You can't just leave Shouta hanging! It's apparent that Kenzou still cares about him and she's probably gonna go check to see what he's up to, and see that he's been waiting for her this whole time (That's what I expected to see). Even though this series has some content I would only view behind closed doors, it is something I'll recommend to my friends.
I love how this story combines yuri and yaoi couples along with straight couple it's a little freaky at first but totally original. I miss they'll make a sequel.

I read this whole thing and Shouta didn't get any real action. I wanted Kenzou and Shouta to be together. There has to be some type of sequel(??)
