The manga is good. I watched the anime first and found it so boring it took a long time to read the manga. Hit it a few years back and found it a better experience than the anime.
Yellow is way better for my tastes though. One of the first I read and still a hard favorite.

This was my first accidental run in with yaoi. They had a copy of the manga in my local library... yup, the library. I was still in grade school and a yaoi virgin (back in the early 2000s). I was so shocked that I actually never finished it. Then I ended up reading Gravitation... and I was reborn into the hardcore fujoshi that I am now. I like to come back and read this manga every so often and reminisce. ^_^

You can tell when it's a good bl when there is a gap before the action it doesn't happen as soon as the manga begins and it doesn't happen all at once in the end with this type you get just the right mix of bl and story
