The story takes the place in the world where using magical powers is natural. Hiasen, the son of Ran, is raised by the powerful wizard, Kasin, who is also a friend of Ran. The story begins with the time when Hiasen asked Kasin to send him to the school for a gift of Melly Day (February 29th, comes in every 4 years).
