Sht gets overused and genres become oversaturated. Especially after reading the rlly good ones that make you feel empty afterwards and almost nothing else can top them... yeah other mangas/manhwas from then on become boring.

IMO, I'd argue it's the timeline. Like how long is "old"? Maybe 20 years+? That's 20 years worth of "old" stuff, whereas "new" stuff only has maybe 3-4 years...
So, you think old stuff is better, but in reality it's probably roughly the same it's just that the volume is different due to the length of time.

We are bound to be biased towards nostalgia. That's part of it. The charm of what you know is unbeatable.
