Would you introduce yaoi or yuri to your (future) kids?
I'm just curious, are there people who would introduce yaoi or yuri to their kids or are there people who have already done that? I don't know what I'd do if I had kids...
I'm sorry for the crude comparison, but that's a bit like introducing your child to porn (even if it's not graphic, there are usually still some scenes)
Introducing them to shounen ai or shoujo ai sounds a lot better LOL

I agree with bakayaoi. It is EXACTLY like introducing your kids to porn, and some of the scenes ARE that explicit. And once you introduce them to it, you can't help what they stumble across. Keep in mind that there are very graphic and traumatising scenes in Yoai manga's that are treated as normal (assault, stalking, etc) or even romantic at times....... reply

A big no, this kind of interest is more than frowned upon on whole Balkan, I would even endanger their lives, if anyone would found out. I myself am hiding that read I MANGA, and don't let me start with yaoi and the co(only my fiancé and my younger sister know). If they discover on their own, and end up liking it, I would advice them to not share ...... reply
I would give them mangas and if they like it, they can explore it further on their own. It's not my job to make them like the same things I do. but if they do is, it's nice and if it they don't then we have other things to talk about reply
Wow that's a tough question to answer. First off, I don't have kids yet but I do have a lot of nephews and nieces. I've introduced the love for anime to these kids and so far they like it. I haven't introduced mangas to them yet because I'm letting them savor the beauty of anime first (I know I'm weird). But given time, I'll introduced them to that...... reply
um no. my friend introduced me to hentai at 13 I won't do that to my kids. I'd turn back time tbh if i can so i wouldn't have known about this side of the entertainment industry as early as that age. I'd prefer the kids to just do whatever but!! If i see them exploring it then... i'd have to turn a blind eye i mean come on if i was the one that got...... reply
I would not introduce my kids with my yaoi album. xD
But if they discover by themself, i cant do anything about it. They can read or watch just like me.
But id prefer my daughter likes yaoi and my son likes yuri. Otherwise it might be problematic for their future. I will support them in any case tho.

Introducing kids to any kind of sexual content is a kind of sexual abuse, i am pretty sure your kids, or mine if i ever have them will be more than capable enough to find by themselves whatever kind of material that might tickle their fancy once they are ready and willing to search for it, plus i do agree that talking and sharing with your parents ...... reply
