In love since highschool

I'm a girl who was in love with her straight best friend since first year of highschool. I've never told her that, she knew I was a lesbian and that was ok.
I've had relationships, college, a lot to live... I didn't see her for 4 years and never forgot about her once.
I decided to invest in a serious relationship with someone and that's what I'm up to now, 3 years going on.
There's two sad parts on this story, today I saw on social media that she is celebrating an anniversary with her boyfriend and that broke me hard. I may never forget her. The other sad part is that the girl I'm with now really loves me and I fell like I'm making a fool of her because I really can't make my friend get out of my heart.
The anniversary part is probably why I'm on the internet venting lol
