lol no my parents are reaaaaaally homophobic, but I think they know that I like it since my dad once found some pictures on my phone..... I got so mad at him bc I didn't give him permission to use my phone -.- but now I just tell them that I don't like these things anymore lmao why you always lyin'~ My mom once caught me watching Junjou Romantica in a scene where two of the guys were naked in bed together like.... why did you appear right in that scene mom :")))) I told her that it was a gay anime alright but I only watched it "because of the story"
My mom is somewhat homophobic... or more like she disagrees on principal...I think my mom knows I read some "stuff" that include "gay" relationships, since I always take any chance I get to convince her that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality, but though we've gotten to the point where she doesn't have any ill opinions of my homosexual friends, she still thinks it is wrong, simply because: "That's not how humans are meant to work"... well... I still try...
But as for watching yaoi WITH them......I don't even want to try....EVER!!! Who wants to spend such awkward times watching porny stuff with their family?!?!?! And though they probably know I read the stuff, as they have no interest in manga/anime, they are completely oblivious when it comes to the extent of the smut and porn involved, and I'd rather things stayed that way!!!
My parents are too, but they know I support quite a bit of stuff so they kinda just ignore that part of me XD I'm pretty sure my dad went on my tablet and he probably saw all my bl and gl books on Wattpad and probably saw my saved manga. I snatched it back, but we all know he saw it all.
My parents also know I'm really supportive of gay people and my mom complains a lot lol I recently told her how much I admire drag queens and she was really grossed out like wth they aren't gross... Same thing whenever gay people appear on tv kissing, I just tell her that it's just a different kind of love but it's still love anyway and it shouldn't be seen like smth disgusting and different.....
