Who introduced you to BL/Yaoi?
Did someone introduce it to you? Or did you find out by yourself?
I personally had heard the words and known what it meant for a long time, but I've only started getting into it a little before my current girlfriend and I started dating. She showed me the ways, but I was always sort of weirded out to be a guy and reading these things, but they grew on me; since I was trying to figure out why she likes them (I was trying to woo her at the time (*^ー^)). It eventually escalated into reading smut though. I quite enjoy then now (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Back on topic, definitely found by myself. Fairly certain it was through slowly branching out from fluff doujins of Soul Eater (my first manga), with yaoi showing up as a genre on the si...... 2 reply
I was watching Youtube one day and stumbled across a pretty popular yaoi anime, Gravitation. I started watching it and I was instantly hooked. I started to look into the genre and now I read yaoi almost everyday lol. 4 reply
Basically, it all started a few years ago with Boku no Pico. Yep, pretty sad. Back when I watched it (maybe 3 or 4 years ago ??) I was dared to watch it. A few years passed, and I made a couple of friends who were interested in anime & manga. Little did I know that they would try to introduce me to BL. I assumed they were cool, and suddenly, I was ...... 1 reply
My twin sister .
I remember the day I went to visit her. I looked on her bookshelf and saw the first Yaoi Manga I had ever seen in my life. When I opened the pages I could not believe what I was reading I thought my sister had lost her mind and was sick. I even tried to talk her into throwing away the book but slowly over years I crossed over and ...... reply
My sister indirectly introduced me to yaoi by saving some amazing fan art "accidentally" to my file that had the same name as her folder, the art she saved was kissing and fluff so I wasn't grossed out because I was busy imbracing the art. Slowly she started downloading djs with great art and I ended up hooked to bl reply
Actually,I already knew what was yaoi because I'm an artist and a friend of mine was into Yuri and Yaoi, but I wasn't.So one day I was talking with a friend and she was talking about Yuri!!! On Ice,and said that I should watch it because is beautiful and amazing (and it is,victuuri forever). So I watched all the series and I freaking loved it! then I...... reply
No one introduce me to BL tough.. cause it rare to see someone open with them liking BL in my country cause it is taboo for guyxguy relationship here. But I know there's plently of them who like yaoi except the fact I have no friends around me that like it. Not even one. Almost all my friends hate it except my bestie that I forced to heard me blabb...... reply
I found it myself. It was about 10 years ago, when I was looking for anime to watch I found a BL and watched it and thought the couple was incredibly cute. When I was little I loved Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura and everyone knows Haruka and Michiru were a couple, same as Touya and Yukito and that Tomoyo was in love with Sakura. So... non-stra...... reply
I discovered yaoi when I read at the back of a hetero romance novel about the author being into yaoi. Well at that time, I don't know what this word means so I searched it on the internet and found out what it was. But I didn't really get into it until I saw Asami and Fei Long, decided to read Viewfinder to get to know them and yeah, I was caught h...... reply
