any of you guys have weeaboo friends?
i, fortunately, don't have such friends. if anything, i'm closely related to a weeaboo whom my friends will not like. i like to call myself a otaku. how about you guys? any weeaboo friends? and how do they act around you? how do you react to them?
We'd act like weeaboos when we're bored We'd suddenly go all like, "kawaii desu ne" and just make a convo with high-pitched voices. Even my guy friend would go all: "yamatte senpai~"

I kinda do but I don't know if I'd call him a weaboo even though he does really like anime and manga too. More like he's just a cringy person in general. Anyways, you know how sometimes you and your friends would be jokingly saying things and then another friend basically says the same thing but it would come out differently from their mouth? i have 2 weeaboo friends and one of them is the worst sometimes. plus i have one koreaboo friend as a bonus amazing right. somehow i have the most anime related stuff in my room and have like 100 manga's and they even say that i'm the opposite of a weeaboo (perhaps i don't want to play 'The world is mine' from hatsune miku in the car but only want ...... reply
A while back(like years) I made a friend who liked anime, she became my closest friend and I practically left every "normal" friend I had. I had a few more otaku friends and a few koreaboo friends. But when I started college, anime wasn't enough to keep us all together, I learned how different we all were. There was nothing else in common... Slowl...... reply

I do TBH, that try-hard japanese is funny to the point of embarrassing but me and our other friends are used to her. We just tease her or act like we're embarassed of her when she does that in public but nothing serious. We're close so we tell her that it's embarrassing when it gets out of hand. Nope. Fortunately I don't have such friends and never have. I don't even consider myself an otaku. I watch a lot of anime and read a bunch of manga but I also watch a ton of movies and tv shows and read novels and books. I have a whole bunch of hobbies I enjoy just as much, so since anime and manga aren't my one special thing, I don't think I can b...... 1 reply
